London Trip
Every year the school arranges an educational visit to the city of London. This trip has been running for many years and is open to all Year 7 pupils. The trip lasts for 4 full days and 3 nights.
The children have the opportunity to experience and learn about many tourist and historic places of interest.
Among the places we visit are the London Eye, Tower of London, Madame Tussauds, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Imperial War Museum, London Zoo and Wembley Stadium. The children have a chance to shop in Covent Garden and in Hamley’s Toy Shop. We also have lunch with the Irish Society in the Guildhall. Other main sights we visit include Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard, Trafalgar Square and Downing Street.
In the evenings we go to 2 musicals - these have in recent years included: Shrek, The Lion King, We Will Rock You and Wicked. Other evening activities may include a trip to the cinema and/ or ten pin bowling.
This trip is a wonderful experience for all the children and one which they will never forget.
Due to Covid, we have been unable to run the London trip over the last few years but IT'S BACK!!! Here's a few galleries from previous years to whet your appetitie.
